PURPOSE:To obtain the control device capable of coping with a remote operating device sold in a market by a method wherein a control circuit, controlling various kinds of instruments under selecting either one of operation starting mode or operation waiting mode, is provided in the device. CONSTITUTION:When an electric source is thrown in, the control circuit 2 decides whether a switch 1 is being thrown into operation starting position (a) or into normal operation waiting position (b). In case of the operation starting mode, the signals of input terminals IN2-IN5, connected to the changeover switch 7 of a time setting circuit 3, are read to decide how many hours should be elapsed from the throw-in of the electric source to the stop of the operation and the operation is started under predetermined operation mode. When the time, read in previously by the switch 7, has elapsed, the control circuit 2 outputs operation stopping signal to the side of an output circuit 6 to stop the operation of an air conditioner. In case of the operation waiting mode, an operation ON/OFF switch from a key input circuit 4 is pushed to wait operation command.
