The lower part of a container receives a bottom insert (12), to define a chamber (18) for collecting water. The chamber has an overflow (16). The bottom insert can comprise a sunk part (28) extending downward into the bottom chamber past the overflow. The sunk part comprises a passage opening towards the chamber, with an open upper end for receipt of a filling e.g. earth. The sunk part of the bottom insert is pref. of groove form. A space (40) connected with the bottom chamber has overflow openings at its upper part, at a higher level than the bottom chamber overflow openings.
