PURPOSE:To obtain a transparent screen having wide field angle, improved contrast, and conveniency in preparation by providing many lenticular lenses on the surface of an observation side. CONSTITUTION:Lenticular lenses 2 are provided to an observation surface B of a screen substrate 1 consisting of a synthetic resin such as acrylic resin, polycarbonate resin, polyvinyl chloride resin, or polystyrene resin. Fresnel lenses 5 are formed on a projection surface A. Linear total reflection surfaces 21 are formed on both sides of the lens units constituting said lenticular lenses 2, and crest parts 22 comprising each three curved surfaces are provided to each region between surfaces for the total reflection where the reflected light by the total reflection at the total reflection surface 21 and directly incided straight light to the crest parts 22 are diffused respectively and emitted therefrom. A layer 3 having a lower refractive index than the screen substrate material 1 is provided to the surface of the lenticular lens 2, and a layer for absorbing external light is provided to the parts corresponding to the total reflection causing parts. |
