This diagnostics device comprises an X-ray image intensifier television chain which exhibits an X-ray image intensifier, a television camera for recording the X-ray image intensifier output images, a control generator (8) for the television chain, a processing circuit and a monitor, the processing circuit containing one branch each for a frame without contrast medium and for a frame with contrast medium, having one frame buffer (14, 15) each and one circuit arrangement each for reducing the picture noise and a subtraction stage (18), connected to these branches, for forming the difference between the frame with contrast medium and the frame without contrast medium, in which a multiplication stage (11) and an addition stage (13) are connected in series into the branch for the frame with contrast medium between television camera and second frame buffer (15), the output of the frame buffer (15) is fed back to the second input of the addition stage, a further multiplication stage (17) is arranged between the second frame buffer (15) and the subtraction stage (18) and the control generator (8) is connected to the further multiplication stage (17) via a counter (20) for setting the multiplier. <IMAGE>
