Method for producing a semi-rigid, foldable solar generator produced from a plurality of covered solar cells (Cics), which has at least two folding elements that are connected to one another in a rotatable fashion via hinge-type joints, characterised by the following method steps: a) gluing on the reverse side of matrix subsections for the purpose of covering the joining elements carbon-fibre strips which project beyond the upper and lower edges of each matrix subsection, b) joining the projecting ends of adjacent carbon-fibre strips with second carbon-fibre strips, c) mounting at least two matrix subsections in separately produced carbon-fibre frames, and d) joining the carbon-fibre frames together with the matrix subsections via hinges to form a solar generator. <IMAGE> |
