Workpiece feed system for machine tools, especially grinding, planing, milling or drilling machines, having a workpiece-clamping table which, after clamping, can be brought out of a loading position into a feed position, in which it is guided, supported and can be locked by means of the slide, which can be movable for transport by the machine, and, in a machining position, is sealed off against the penetration of coolant or lubricant or scuff, chips or such like machining residues or foreign bodies which can impair exact guidance, including particularly disadvantageous particles of the tool, such as hard-metal particles (grains).
