PURPOSE:To obtain processed corn having a taste almost equal to cooking flavor of characteristic corn, by introducing raw corn to a continuous heater of closed type, heat-treating it. CONSTITUTION:Raw corn is introduced to a continuous heater of closed type, and heat-treated at 115-130 deg.C for 10sec-50min. The continuous heater of closed type is a device to heat-treat raw corn which is being transported in a closed state, and, to be concrete, it is a tubular heater, a heater of surface raking type, etc. |
