As a target detection device for ejected bodies or submunitions which are accommodated in a large quantity in a carrier system, it is proposed for optimum utilisation of the available stowage space that a Fresnel lens, which is constructed to be suitable for RF and IR radiation and consists of dielectric material, be arranged on the ejected bodies.
