In the proposed shipping and retail package, a sleeve blank (10) and a container blank (20) are pushed into one another and form a pack blank (30). The sleeve blank (10) and the container blank (20) are connected to one another along the long side walls by means of adhesion points (31). Since the pack blank (30) is open both on the bottom side and on the top side, position-sensitive flat bag packages (50) can also be pushed in simply and the shipping package (40) can be closed symmetrically on both sides after filling. After tearing open the sleeve and detaching at the adhesion points (31), the packed articles (50) are accessible and ready for sale. <IMAGE>
