PURPOSE:To make a host computer execute the processing of abnormality generated in a terminal processor by dumping the contents stored in the processor to an external storage device in the host computer through a communication circuit. CONSTITUTION:When a trouble such as system down is generated in the terminal processor, the failure status is informed to the host computer side through a telephone line. The host computer detects the generation of the error, turns on an operation switch 1c and commonds a communication control device 1e to dump. Then the host computer commands a terminal side communication control device 2a' in the terminal processor 2a generating the failure to store the communication control device 1e through a circuit 4. The device 2a' commands a microprocessor 2a'' to transfer its stored contents to the device 1e. The host computer 1a stores the transferred contents stored in the terminal processor 2a in the external storage device 1d. |
