A tube (3) and a filter (12) surrounding this are arranged on one side of a sheet (4) suitable as a lid for a drum (1), as a filtration device for treating solids-containing, radioactive waste waters. The tube (3) is joined to a pipe connection (7) on the other side of the sheet (4). An additional pipe connection (7) outside the filter (12) serves for filling the space with waste waters, whose solids-free liquid portion can be withdrawn downstream of the filter (12). <IMAGE>
