The invention relates to a blocking system, in particular for insulating-glass panes in a rebate of a profiled frame made of plastic, a plate-like block bridge made of a plastic such as polystyrene being fixed in a stationary manner in the rebate of the profiled frame and supporting the glass pane in the direction of the pane surface. The hard plastic used in previous blocking systems frequently led to too strong a clamping-in of the glass pane in the profiled frame and to damage caused as a result. According to the invention, therefore, there is arranged non-positively and/or positively between the block bridge arranged in the rebate and the glass pane a glazing block made of a softer material, in particular polyethylene, which makes possible a damping, stable/elastic bearing of the glass pane.
