Adjustable height washing basin (1) comprised of an arm which is pivotingly fixed by one end to a vertical wall and of which the other end carries a part (3) keeping its spatial orientation in all the orientations of the arm and to which part of the washing basin (1) is fixed, a flow discharge pipe (2) coming out of the washing basin from the underside. The part (11) comprises a potentially horizontal plate (3), the flow discharge pipe (3) traverses through a hole provided in the plate (3) and, from the plate (3) and particularly from its edge area, pipes (4) are coming out upwardly and are arranged vertically around the flow discharge pipe (2) preferably at a short distance therefrom, and pushing upwardly the washing basin (1) bearing thereon, a nut (6) or the like on the flow discharge pipe (2) bears from underneath against the plate (3). Thereby, it is possible to obtain a simple connection between the washing basin and the part which enables to secure thereto a washing basin in any configuration.
