PURPOSE:To dissolve inferior earthing-resistant insulation according to unequal thickness of an insulator, and to improve cooling of the coil of a superconductive electromagnet by a method wherein holes of a large number are dug to cool a coil spool and a coil, on a cooling cylinder manufactured of a material having high heat conductivity for cooling of the coil, the insulator is arranged on the periphery of the cooling cylinder, and the holes are filled up with resin of an insulator. CONSTITUTION:Flange parts 1a are provided at both the edges of the trunk part 1 of a spool, a cooling cylinder 2 is provided on the outside diametrical part of the trunk part, and the earthing-resistant insulator 3 of a coil is provided on the outside diametrical part thereof. Cooling holes 5 are provided to the trunk part of the spool, and enabled to make the cooling cylinder 2 to be cooled directly according to liquid helium. Holes 6 of a large number are dug in the cooling cylinder 2. To fix the cooling cylinder 2 to the trunk part 1 of the spool, coil earthing-resistant insulator resin is applied wholly on the inside of the cooling cylinder 2, and the whole surface is pressed against the trunk part of the spool. The resin makes the trunk part 1 of the spool and the cooling cylinder 2 to adhere losely, fills up the hole parts, and adheres closely with the earthing-resistant insulator of the outside diametrical part of the cooling cylinder 2 powerfully. |
