The invention relates to a releasable snap-in connection within the release system of a pull-operated motor-vehicle friction clutch. To transmit the release movement, a radially elastic ring is provided which engages in grooves of two concentric components. The ring is held centrally in the groove of the outer component, the said groove being open radially towards the inside, and the inner component is introduced in the axial direction with a cone. The elastic ring travels on the cone as far as a groove of the inner component, the said groove being open radially towards the outside. A connection for the transmission of the pulling release force is thereby established. To release this snap-in connection, the inner component is pushed further into the outer component, counter to the release movement and, as a result, the elastic ring climbs up the conically widening groove base and, during this change in diameter, its two free ends come into circumferential overlap, with the result that this ring can no longer spring back into its original tight position during the pulling-out of the inner component. This makes the release of the snap-in connection simple.
