PURPOSE:To stabilize a magnetic film up to the neighborhood of the melting point of a plating metal, and to make the film to enable to endure sufficiently formation of a finely magnetized pattern according to projection of laser by a method wherein electrodes are immersed in a plating liquid dispersed with rigid magnetic particles, and electrolysis is performed using the substrate as a cathode, and by making a magnet to come in contact with the back of the substrate. CONSTITUTION:Electrolysis is performed using a substrate 3 as a cathode, and by making a magnet 2 to come in contact with the back of the substrate 3 in a plating liquid dispersed with rigid magnetic particles 1 of 5-100g/l to form a metal film containing the rigid magnetic particles 1 on the substrate 3. Because the particles easily oxidizable such as the Nd-Fe, Sm1Co5 or Sm2Co17 particles out of the rigid magnetic particles reach with water when dispersed directly in an aqueous solution, protective films are formed on the surfaces of the particles before to be dispersed in the plating liquid. As the protective film thereof, a metal film of Cu, Ni, Cr, Ag, etc. or the oxide, the nitride, the carbide of the metal to hardly react with water, and to hardly generate a hydroxide film, etc. on the surface is suitable. Moreover, to reduce resistance when electrolysis is to be performed, it is favorable to cover the surfaces of the rigid magnetic particles with conductive films. |
