In the portable submersible centrifugal electric pump with vertical axis, the impeller (5) is mounted directly on the shaft (39) of the motor (9). The said shaft is provided with a means of medium (35, 37) intermediate between the impeller (5) and the rotor (41) of the motor, both thereby projecting on opposite sides.
