The invention relates to a brush with bristles for cleaning the surfaces of objects, teeth and the like, which comprises two part-brushes (A and B) whose handles are arranged in parallel to one another. On the long sides facing each other these two handles each have a projecting rib (4) or a longitudinal groove (5) whose cross-section is matched to the shape of the rib. In consequence, the two part-brushes are pivotable relative to one another, and the bristles of the two part-brushes can simultaneously work on two sides of the object to be cleaned. Handling is simplified by providing a finger depression (6) on the outside of each of the two handles (Fig. 1). <IMAGE>
