With a mandrel reel (1), the excess pressure valves (V) delivered via a vibration conveyor (4) and a conveyor belt (5) to a valve application device (6) are introduced into a moveable mandrel tip arranged at the bottom of the mandrel. In a second station (7), a tube (S) is shaped from a roll (F) and is pushed over the mandrel structure. In a station (8), the excess pressure valve is welded to the tube (S). The bag (B) is shaped in a further station (9) by folding and sealing, and the valve is freed from the support in the mandrel tip by movement of the mandrel tip by means of an ejector bolt. Thus, an excess pressure valve can be welded onto the inside of the bag (B) and the work cycle can be timed in such a way that a high degree of efficiency can be achieved with this arrangement. In addition, the valve can be fitted in principle in the front face of a bag (B), and the bag can be provided with an effective advertising imprint. <IMAGE> |
