Device for the treatment of disorders of the feet and lower legs with gush spraying nozzles

A device is specified for the intensive treatment of disorders of the feet and lower legs, especially venous ulcers, the device generating a water-air-ozone mixture in the form of a gush from applicators (4) equipped with differently shaped nozzles (4a-f). This mixture can be directed through a flexible applicator hose (3) perpendicularly or tangentially, e.g. on wound surfaces of any location, and leads to detachment of troublesome wound coverings, among other effects. The bath water (51) is in circulation; it is accelerated by the water pump (5b) and mixed in the mixing nozzle funnel (5e) with the compressed air which was supplied by the air pump (5c) and was ozonised in the ozone combustion chamber (5d). The mixture passes via the supply hose (5f) from the bottom of a treatment tub (1) into a distribution system (2c) with several removal openings (2b) in which the applicator hoses (3) can be inserted. The water flowing back is removed and purified via a suction rose (2d) with a filter insert, and passes through the return hose (5g) back to the suction side of the water pump (5b). The water pump (5b) and the air pump (5c) are conjointly driven by a motor (5a) which additionally generates vibrations, for example as a result of an unbalanced mass. <IMAGE>
