摘要 PURPOSE:To control the number of revolutions of mill motors and to enhance the controlling accuracy of sheet thickness by providing a speed control device to a cold tandem mill and detecting a drooping-characteristics control signal to output a signal for offsetting said control signal to each other to the speed control device. CONSTITUTION:A speed command value Qa and a speed detection value Qb outputted from a tachogenerator TGi connected to a mill motor MMi are given to an adding circuit ADD of an automatic speed-control device ASRi to drivingly control the mill motor MMi, by a proportional-plus-integral control circuit PI through a DC generator DCG so as to achieve Qa-Qb=0. Further, a current of mill motor MM is given as a control-information by providing a drooping block Droop, and an output Qc which changes in accordance with the value of said current is given to the circuit ADD, and a rotation-control circuit SCi inputs the output Qc and an interstand tension Ti-1, i and outputs a control signal Qd for offsetting the output Qc to each other to the circuit ADD, in order to stabilize the speed of mill motor MMi.
