PURPOSE:To reduce the torque ripple, size and weight of a brushless motor by so selecting the number of slots of a stator core that the value obtained by dividing the number of poles of a main magnetic field by the integer magnification of the number of the phase of an armature winding becomes a fraction, and forming the armature winding in a special structure. CONSTITUTION:Axial lines are drawn in the direction of the phase angle of the phase strips of a winding on a plane (a conjugate plane). In case, for example, of the slot #1, the component vectors of two adjacent axial lines interposed at both sides of its slot magnetomotive force vector are obtained, the number of conductors in the slot is decided at every phase strip, and the numbers are similarly decided in the other slots. Then, when one coil is composed of sets of the phase strips of different polarity in the same phase having the same number of conductors of the coil sides belonging to the phase strips, the spatial disposition of the coils becomes as shown, and the winding widths (coil pitches) of the respective coils are decided. When the coil groups in the same phase are connected as shown, a balanced 3-phase winding can be formed to form an armature winding in which the torque ripple is suppressed. |
