PURPOSE:To make a high-output light source unnecessary by moving a lens or a mirror synchronously with a photosensitive body when flash light is emitted in an electronic copying machine which irradiates an original with a flash light source to form a latent image on the belt-shaped photosensitive body. CONSTITUTION:The luminous flux of a light source 9 is reflected on the original placed on platen 1 while moving a belt-shaped photosensitive body 3 in the direction of an arrow (c) by shafts 10 and 10', and the reflected luminous flux is converged by a lens 2 to irradiate the belt 3. The lens 2 is moved in the direction of an arrow (a) synchronously with light emission of the light source 9 in accordance with the moving speed of the photosensitive body 3 while the light source 9 emits light. Thus, stable pictures without pattern flow are obtained with the low-power light source. The similar effect is obtained when a mirror omitted in the figure is moved. |
