PURPOSE:To prevent a manufacturing system from being adversely affected, by method wherein an area capable of registering a plurality of pieces of printing information is provided in a printing controller, and the printing information data are selected at the timing of changing the printing information, in a printer for products. CONSTITUTION:The printing information changing timing is generated in accordance with the number of bodies to be printed which is detected by a detector 46 for the bodies to be printed, a limit time set on a timer 45 or a signal from an external device 50 or the like. A main controlling part 43 selects data of a plurality of pieces of printing information registered in a memory part 44, and transfers them into a printing data area in the same memory part 44. Thereafter, with a printing-starting timing supplied, the data of printing information stored in the printing data area are transferred to a nozzle-controlling part 47, whereby data are converted into analog signals, and printing is conducted by a nozzle head part 48. Accordingly, printing information can be easily changed without need for an expensive host CPU or need for restricting the velocity of a feeding conveyor in the manufacturing system.
