PURPOSE:An ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer (EVA) sheet is bonded at the joint part in high adhesivity and water-stopping performance, by laminating the sheet using an adhesive such as an EVA-based adhesive and a pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet. CONSTITUTION:Two or more water-stopping sheets for engineering works composed of EVA sheet optionally lined with a base, are bonded together at the joint part. An EVA-based adhesive, a polyvinyl acetate-based adhesive or a mixed adhesive containing EVA and/or polyvinyl acetate is applied to the joint part of the sheet, and dried. The sheet are bonded together interposing a pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet (e.g. pressure-sensitive adhesive rubber-asphalt sheet) between the water stopping sheets at the joint part. EFFECT:Resistant to elongation.
