The implement has the shape of a toothbrush with a handle part (3) and a head part (1) attached thereto. The head part (1) consists of a binder, or at least a resilient material, which contains abrasive particles. With these, stains on the teeth, deposits and/or tartar can be removed which are not removable with the conventional toothbrushes.
