PURPOSE:To obtain data for managing printing immediately after printing by comparing the data after correction with reference printing data input separately, and calculating the data showing the printed state. CONSTITUTION:Print sheet is detected for reference light reflection amount partly interrupted by a white portion and dimming mechanism by data detecting means 13 made of light emitting element and photoreceptor. This signal is fed through an amplifier 31 and a log circuit 32 ro become a density signal, and through an A/D converter 33 and converter 34 to obtain the reference density and reference plate density of memories 35, 37 via circuit 36 to obtain a correction coefficient, and input to a memory circuit 38. Then, picture pattern and print managing scale are printed on the record sheet, the density detected by the means 13 is corrected by a corrector 39 via previous correction coefficient, compared by a calculator 40 with the reference print density data of a memory 41, and data for indicating the printed state is displayed on an output device 42. |
