ISOLATING AGENT COMPRISING POLYSACCHARIDE DERIVATIVE

PURPOSE:To obtain an isolating agent having higher function for discriminating an optically active mother compound by using an aralkyl carboxylic acid ester of a polysaccharide as an effective component. CONSTITUTION:An aralkyl carboxylic acid ester of a polysaccharide is used as an effective component. The isolating agent is effective for the isolation of several kinds of compound, particularly extremely effective for the isolation for optically active isomers which have been very difficultly isolated conventionally. One of the optically active isomers being an object of isolation is adsorbed more strongly to the isolating agent than other forms of the isomers.
