PURPOSE:To eliminate the effect of a difference of degree of deflection depending on electronic deflector by using an optical beam of two kinds of polarized components orthogonal to each other so as to apply multiplex communication. CONSTITUTION:Each optical beam from two light sources 21a, 21b outputting the optical beam having orthogonal polarized components is subject to modulation by a signal transmitted respectively from corresponding modulators 2a, 2b. Since two kinds of transmission signals are transmitted respectively by using two different polarized components, the effect of the difference of the degree of deflection of the electronic deflector 7 is eliminated and the multiplex transmission of a long distance is attained accurately. |
