<p>PURPOSE:To produce a large-sized device which can observe the whole of a panel by dividing two, upper and lower substrates, between which a liquid crystal is sealed, into >=4 and directing the good visual field in the rubbing processing direction of each part toward the center of the panel. CONSTITUTION:An upper substrate 5 (a-d) to which a light distributing film 6 is applied is divided into 4, and one quarter is exposed, and the other quarters are masked, and the substrate 5 is rubbed in the direction of an arrow. Left quarters are rubbed successively in directions of arrows 1', 1'', and 1''' respectively. A lower substrate 5' to which a light distributing film 6' is applied is rubbed similarly in directions of arrows 2, 2', 2'', and 2''', and upper and lower substrates 5 and 5' are surrounded with a spacer, and a liquid crystal 8 is sealed. Thus, a large-sized liquid crystal panel whose whole can be observed in directions of thick arrows is produced.</p> |
