发明名称 COORDINATE POSITIONING DEVICE FOR MACHINE TOOL
摘要 PURPOSE:To reduce the weight of a device and enable to perform smooth positioning operation, by a method wherein racks are positioned in a position in the vicinity of a large rail and a small rail, and a rotary shaft having pinion gears at its opposite ends is pivotally secured to carriages. CONSTITUTION:Racks 45 and 47 are located in parallel to each other to an underwork in the vicinity of a large rail 15 and a small rail 17 which guide a first carriage 23 in the direction of an axis X. A rotary shaft 53, provided at its opposite ends with pinion gears 49 and 51 geared with the racks 45 and 47, is pivotally secured to the first carriage 23 and a first auxiliary carriage 25. Thus, the large rail 15 enables the first carriage 23 to be reliably positioned in a position in the vicinity of a first lead screw 33, and after positioning, brake action of the first lead screw 33 is rendered effective thereto. This eliminates the need to constitute the first carriage, a moving truck, the first auxiliary carriage, etc. in a rigid structure, enables smooth and reliable positioning of coordinates, and permits prevention of production of vibration during processing.
