PURPOSE:To accurately judge the propriety of injection molded product by detecting the temperature of the nearest portion of a nozzle contacted with a mold, and comparing it with the temperature set to the nozzle. CONSTITUTION:A nozzle 3 is held at set temperature of 200 deg.C by a heater 5 before contacted with a mold 7. When the nozzle 3 is contacted by pressing with the mold 7, the set temperature starts decreasing, and arrives at approx. 180 deg.C. Heat is moved from the nozzle 3 to the mold 7, and as the temperature gradient decreases in the meantime, the temperature drop is stopped, and the temperature again starts rising toward the set value. However, it does not completely return to the set temperature, but becomes substantially equilibrated state at approx. 195 deg.C, and then draws a waveform curve tuned with the molding cycle. Then, the allowable temperature range determined on the basis of the set temperature is measured by a thermocoupler 8 provided at the end of the nozzle 3, and the mold formed when the temperature is displaced out of this range is treated as improper product. |
