PURPOSE:To facilitate installation in a limited space along with a higher accuracy by setting a thermocouple on the surface of a high temperature or low temperature liquid to detect the height of the liquid surface depending on changes in the thermoelectromotive force due to the contact with or separation from the liquid surface. CONSTITUTION:First and second thermocouples 1 and 2 are set on the liquid surface and under the liquid respectively and negative poles thereof 1 and 2 are connected to each other while outputs of both the positive poles thereof are inputted into a voltage comparison circuit 3. Then, output of the thermocouple 2 is inputted independently into a temperature adjustor 5 to control a heater 6. |
