PURPOSE:To make the equipment portable by providing a ray source container adapted to shield radiation of a radiation source outside a scanner to put the radiation source in the ray source container into or out of a scanner body with a mechanism of moving in or out the ray source during taking pictures. CONSTITUTION:The body 1 of a scanner is composed of a frame 10 which serves for a scanner operation in a ray source unit 3 having a radio isotope (RI) ray source 2 set thereon and a radiation detector 4 and a frame 12 for traversing and rotation. The ray source unit 3 made up of an RI filling mechanism 14 for mechanically feeding the ray source 2 into an RI carrier base 13 and the carrier base 13 itself. Then, a ray source container (not illustrate) is provided outside the body 1 and connected to the filling mechanism 14 with a freely bendable release outer tube 31a to put in or out the ray source 2 with a takeoff mechanism (not illustrated). Moreover, the takeoff mechanism is driven by a mechanism control section (not illustrated) to move the carrier base 13 through the filling mechanism 14. |
