PURPOSE:To make it possible to curtail a time for holding a manual operating member at an igniting position by providing delay means for closing an ignition valve and continuing the igniting state of an ignition burner automatically in a predetermined period of time. CONSTITUTION:The titled controller comprises delay means 16 for closing the ignition valve 8 by delaying a predetermined period of time after releasing the pressure by the switching operation from an igniting position B to a combustion position C of a manually operating member 10. When a main cock 20 is opened and a push button 10c of the member 10 is pressed from a stop position A to an igniting position B, a cut-off valve 7, an electromagnetic valve 6 and the ignition valve 8 are successively opened, and an igniter 9 is operated to iginte a main burner 1 by fire transfer through the ignition burner 2. Then, pressing of the push button 10c is immediately releases and switching of from the igniting position B to the combustion position C is carried out. However, even when the pressing operation of the pushing button 10c in the igniting position B is released before the fire transfer ignition, the ignition valve 8 is held in an open state for a predetermined period of time by the delay means 16. Hence, even when the fire transfer ignition of the main burner 1 is slow, it is made possible to positively ignite the main burner 1 within a predetermined period of time. |
