PURPOSE:The titled composition that is obtained by adding a formamide oxime to a benzimidazole or thiophanate fungicide, thus showing satifactory control effect against fungi resistant to these fungicides and sensitive fungi. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition contains, as active ingredients, a compound of the formula (X is H, halogen, alkyl, alkoxy; Y is halogen, alkyl, alkoxy, alkenyloxy, alkinyloxy; R1 is alkyl, alkenyl, alkinyl, cyano- or halogenoalkyl; R2 is R1 other than cyanoalkyl) or its organic or inorganic acid salt or a salt with a metal salt and a benzimidazole or thiophanate fungicide. The combination with a compound of the formula, which does not show fungicidal action against sensitive fungi to the above two fungicide, but shows good fungicidal action against the fungi resistant to the above chemicals, results in higher fungicidal effect against both resistant and sensitive fungi than in sole use.
