PURPOSE:To prevent the reduction in the quantity of recovered heat under the lowering of a load to save the quantity of a fuel consumed in heating equipment by installing a subdamper for adjusting the flow rate in th recuperator. CONSTITUTION:In the heating equipment 20 for hot rolling, the recuperator 1 is formed by heat receiving pipes 22 and 23 interposed between a suction duct 14 communicating with an air intake port 6 and an exhaust duct 17. The subdamper 11 is set at a full-open position 0 when a heating furnace is in a full- loaded state, and an exhaust gas does not utterly receive the resistance of the subdamper 11. When the load of the heating furnace is lowered, the control bar 18 of the subdamper 11 is swung downwardly of a flue 4 by a driving device 12 and the sectional area of the flue 4 is gradually reduced. Hence, the lowering of the flow rate of the exhaust gas within the recuperator 1 is prevented. When the pressure within the furnace is lower than a target value even if the subdamper 11 is fully closed, a main damper 8 is further driven, and the thereafter the opening degree of the main damper 8 is automatically controlled thereby to adjust the flow rate of the exhaust air within the recuperator 1. |
