PURPOSE:To adapt an image forming unit to a copying machine body which is different in the quantity of light only by loading the unit in the body by providing the exposure window part of the unit with slits which are pushed and opened with the exposure window member of the body. CONSTITUTION:Movable window plates are provided in two upper and lower stages 195-198 and correspond to body exposure window side plates 161-162 which differ in height. Slits 181-182 formed in the movable window plates and the exposure window 6 of the unit become wider in width successively from the lower part. Thus, the exposure window part 6 of the unit is only provided with the slits which are pushed and opened with the exposure window member of the electrophotographic device body to adapt the unit to the body which is different in the quantity of light only by loading the unit in the body so that the unit has compatibility. |
