PURPOSE:The titled composition which cures uniformly and rapidly at room temperatures, has excellent storage stability, and gives a cures object having good rubber-like elasticity, comprising a polysulfide polymer and a starch paste. CONSTITUTION:300pts.wt. water and 2-3wt% NaOH, NaNO3 or NaCl are added to 100pts.wt. flour, and stirred at 10-50 deg.C for 1-2hr to obtain a gelatinized paste, to which 0.5-3wt% formaldehyde, 0.5-1wt% sodium oleate, and 4-5wt% clay are added to produce a starch paste. 100pts.wt. polysulfide polymer of the formula (where R is a bivalent aliphatic group, with an 0 atom possibly existing between C atoms; X is an average value of 1.5-2.5; n is 2-45), with a molecular weight of 200-2,000, is incorporated with 0.01-3.0pts.wt. starch paste, a curing agent (e.g. sodium perborate), a curing assistant, a filler, a plasticizer, a tackifire, etc.
