PURPOSE:To enable the salting of a large amount of cod roe by a small number of workers, by transferring a number of salting vessels each having a stationary stirring blade in the cavity along an endless orbit, and turning the vessel around its own axis in the course of transfer. CONSTITUTION:The stationary stirring blades 8, 9 are attached to the ends of the salting vessels 3 toward the center in spiral form perpendicular to the circular drum wall 4. The phase of the blade is staggered by about 180 deg. from each other in cross-section at both ends of the drum of the vessel. The salting vessel 3 filled with the cod roe is circulated along the endless orbit by the circulation motor 16, and at the same time, turned around its own axis by the turning motor 21. |
