PURPOSE:To increase a coupling force and to facilitate a mounting work, by a method wherein a tightening metal for power transmission is formed with an inner ring, having an annular projection on its outer peripheral surface, and an outer ring which is geared with the inner ring and can be increased in size. CONSTITUTION:A tightening metal is formed with an inner ring 28, on the outer peripheral surface of which plural lines of saw tooth-shaped annular projections 31 are provided along the direction of an axis, and an outer ring 29 on the inner peripheral surface of which plural lines of saw tooth-shaped projections 33, geared with the anular projections 31, are formed. The tightening metal is coupled such that the inner and outer rings 28 and 29 are assembled together in a way to gear the two projections 31 and 33 with each other, the inner ring 28 is decreased in size to bring it into pressure contact with a shaft-shaped part 20, and the outer ring 29 is increased in size to bring it into pressure contact with a ring-shaped part 21. This causes the two rings to be brought into pressure contact with each other through a powerful contact pressure, resulting in an increase in a coupling force and facilitation of a mounting work. |
