PURPOSE:To simplify construction and obtain a good shift feeling by arranging a planetary reduction gear which can carry out three-stage shifting of high-speed, neutral, and low-speed gears under a condition shifted to a four-wheel drive. CONSTITUTION:A rear drive shaft 18 is borne by a needle bearing 16 and a ball bearing 20, a gear clutch mechanism 36 for carrying out shift between a two- wheel drive and a four-wheel drive, is provided on the left side of a first sprocket 28. A planetary gear type reduction gear 46 is provided at the butting part between a drive shaft 12 and the rear shaft 18, in a position on the left side of the mechanism 36. The reduction gear 46 has a sun gear 48, a carrier case 50, a planetary gear 54, and a ring gear 56 and, further, a clutch gear 60 is fixed to the inside end face of a casing 10 with a bolt. When the planetary gear mechanism part is moved by a shift plate 58, the gear 56 is meshed with the gear 60, obtaining a decelerated rotation due to the fixation of the gear 56. |
