PURPOSE:A safflower tea, obtained by finely cutting only stems of safflower, steaming the short cut stems, and drying and roasting the stemed steams, containing vitamin E utilizing wastes, and resembling toasted tea and oolong tea. CONSTITUTION:Safflower tea obtained by removing flowers and leaves from safflower, cutting only stems thereof to about 5mm. length, steaming the cut stems, and drying and roasting the steamed stems to give preferably about 1/11 specific gravity ratio between the initial raw stems and the product.
