PURPOSE:To improve right and left weight balance and carry out carefully thought out operation of air cooling and reduce fuel consumption by separately placing two or more sub-engines for driving air-cooling compressors, with respect to the center line in the longitudinal direction of a car body, in an air-cooling system for a bus, etc. CONSTITUTION:Air-cooling units A1, A2 are mounted on both sides of the center line O-O in the longitudinal direction, and under the floor, of a bus respectively. Each of the air cooling units A1, A2 have a small sub-engine 5 to which a compressor 7 and a fan 9 are installed. And, a sub-engine cooling radiator 11, and a refrigerant circuit capacitor 12 are supported by, and fixed to, a frame. By separately placing the sub-engines right and left as in this construction, the air-cooling unit can be also separated right and left, enabling two air-cooling systems to be mounted. Accordingly, the balance in weight is improved permitting a carefully thought out operation of air cooling. |
