PURPOSE:To prevent the stream of thermohardening resin in a flow passage from flowing into the gap between a ball valve and a valve receiving pocket and then hardening in the gap, by previously filling thermohardening resin in the gap, and as well by heating and fusing this thermohardening resin. CONSTITUTION:A valve device disposed in a thermohardening resin flow passage, is formed with a valve receiving pocket 3 in a passage 2 within a body 1. A ball valve 4 for opening and closing the passage 2 is rotatably disposed in the valve receiving pocket 3, and a filler resin 11 of thermohardening resin which is the same material as that of the thermohardening resin flowing through the flow passage 3 within the body 1, excepting no hardening agent being contained therein, is filled between the gap between the ball valve 4 and the valve receiving pocket 3. When heating medium such as, for example, steam, etc. is introduced into a heating jacket 12 to heat the body 1, the filler resin 11 is fused, and therefore, it is possible to prevent the stream of thermohardening resin in the passage from flowing into the gap between the ball valve 4 and the valve receiving pocket 3. |
