PURPOSE:To enable a film ribbon to endure printing under severe conditions, by preparing a carbon ink from a colored material, an oily substance, a binder resin and one selected from a starch powder, a starch derivative powder, a resinated starch powder, a grain powder and powdered polyethylene, each of which is a specified powdered state. CONSTITUTION:The carbon ink is constituted of a colored material, an oily substance, a binder resin and a filler the amount of which is 10-50wt% of the total amount of the above components, the filler being at least one selected from a starch powder, a starch derivative powder, a resinated starch powder, a grain powder and powdered polyethylene, having such a particle size as to pass through a 50-mesh sieve but not to pass through a 450-mesh sieve. Accordingly, even when a multistrike-type film ribbon is wound tightly, the oily component is prevented from being squeezed out or exuding, and sticking does not occur even when the ribbon is exposed to high temperatures. |
