PURPOSE:To effectively reinforce a car lid by installing box-shaped ribs and a plate-shaped rib group joined with the box-shaped ribs, onto the inner surface of a lid body made of synthetic resin of the car lid. CONSTITUTION:A plate-shaped rib group 7 and the plate-shaped ribs 8, 10, 15, and 17 which constitute box shaped ribs 5 and 6 are formed integrally with a lid body 4 made of synthetic resin, and closing plates 11 and 18 are made of synthetic resin or metal plates. The box-shaped ribs 5 and 6 arranged in the longitudinal direction provide a high rigidity for the front and rear edge parts of the lid body 4 and provide a high torsional rigidity for the lid body 4 in cooperation with the plate-shaped rib group 7 in the intermediate part. Among the plate- shaped rib group 7, the first and the second diagonally crossing ribs 23 and 24 connecting the box-shaped ribs 5 and 6 crossing each other operate effectively for providing the torsional rigidity. The plate-shaped rib group 7 provide a high face rigidity for the lid body 4. Therefore, a bonnet 2 is not largely deformed, even if pressed strongly. |
