PURPOSE:To facilitate assembling of heat transfer tube itself and a formed casing by a method wherein the group of heat transfer tubes, formed into J-shape or U-shape, are penetrated through the tube plate of preformed casing and respective groups are welded to constitute a heat exchanging element. CONSTITUTION:The heat exchanger is constituted of the group of preformed J- shape or U-shape heat transfer tubes. The tubes are welded at 9 places in the diagram B or 8 places in the diagram C and the manufacture of the heat exchanger may become inexpensive and may be facilitated remarkably. Especially, an inside casing 5 may be assembled before attaching the heat transfer tubes 2 and the assembly thereof may be effected efficiently and inexpensively while the thermal expansion of the heat transfer tubes are free, therefore, the assembling work may become safe. Further, refractory or heat insulating material may be attached to the inside or outside of the inside casing 5 under considering the resistances to heat and corrosion of the casing 5 and the works for attaching the heat insulating material or refractory material may be effected before inserting the heat transfer tubes. On the other hand, the heat insulating material or the refractory material is supported by the heat transfer and support tube 6, therefore, such materials will never be damaged easily. |
