PURPOSE:To obtain a high refractive index plastic lens which decreases surface reflection and has excellent scratching resistance, adhesion, heat resistance, water resistance, oil resistance and durability by coating a primer compsn. on a base material then forming a cured silicon resin layer thereon and forming further an antireflecting layer consisting of an inorg. material. CONSTITUTION:A resin for a primer is determined by combinations of an acrylic resin and/or methacrylic resin and arom. vinyl resin and is more preferably a copolymer contg. at least 20wt% methyl methacrylate and at least 10wt% styrene. The primer layer is coated on the base material and is dried and cured for 2-60min in a 50-130 deg.C range. The antireflecting film consisting of the cured silicon film and inorg. material is coated on the surface layer of the primer layer obtd. in such a way. The antireflecting layer is formed by laminating single or multi-layered thin films consisting of an inorg. dielectric material, by which the layer to decrease the reflection of the boundary between the atmospheric air and the lens is formed. |
