PURPOSE:To obtain the heat exchanger, suitable for a thin-type air conditioner and shortened in the manufacturing process thereof, by a method wherein a hole, capable of passing an earth mounting seat provided on a metallic side plate, is provided in order to take earth from the inside of a room. CONSTITUTION:The fins 17, 17' of the heat exchanger are manufactured by providing them with the holes 18, 18', through which the earth mounting seat passes, and notches 20, 20' while two sets of the heat exchangers are manufactured simultaneously by a method wherein the fins are piled, hairpin pipes 23 are penetrated, the metallic side plate 21 is attached so that the mounting seat of the earth can pass through the hole 18 of the fin, the hairpin pipes are expanded to caulk it to the fin and a bent pipe 24 is attached. The heat exchanger, thus manufactured, may be used as the thin typeair conditioner by arranging it so that the upper side thereof is arranged at the back side while the lower side thereof is inclined to the front side thereof. Further, the earth mounting seat 22 is provided at the lower side of the front heat exchanger, therefore, an earth wire may be screwed to retain it and earthing may be possible from the inside of the room. |
